About Lake Houston Septic & Plumbing

A referral line for septic and plumbing work on the northeast side of Houston, around the lake.

  • Septic first, then plumbing
  • One independent licensed pro takes each call
  • Huffman, Crosby, Dayton, New Caney, Porter, Atascocita, Humble, Kingwood
  • Every figure on the site names its source

What This Site Does

Lake Houston Septic & Plumbing exists to answer one question for people around Lake Houston: who to call when the tank, the field or the pipe fails. The number and the form on this site reach an independent pro who works in the area. He calls back, looks at the problem and quotes it. The work, the permit, the warranty and the invoice are his. This site digs, pumps, plumbs and guarantees nothing.

It covers a stretch of three counties on purpose, because septic does not respect a county line and neither do the lots. A house in Huffman and a house in New Caney share a lake and a kind of soil but answer to different permit offices, and the pages say so.

What This Site Is Not

It is not Harris County, Montgomery County, Liberty County or the state, and it issues no permits and gives no approvals. Where the pages describe a county’s septic rules they summarize that county’s own published pages as they read on the date shown, and the county’s current version controls.

It does not adjust insurance claims, it does not tell anyone whether a given system complies, and it does not say which lots may legally have a septic system. Only the county can.

Licensing, and How to Check It

Plumbing is a licensed trade in Texas under Occupations Code chapter 1301, overseen by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. The plumber who takes a call here works under a Responsible Master Plumber’s license. The Board’s rule requires that person’s name and license number on proposals, invoices and contracts, with the words “regulated by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.” An estimate without them deserves a question before it is signed.

Septic work is separate. Harris County’s page says installation must be done by an installer registered with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality or by the homeowner, and TCEQ’s maintenance page says aerobic systems are maintained by a licensed maintenance provider, who must be an individual person. Ask which license or registration covers the job, and ask to see it.
