What the Service Is
Lake Houston Septic & Plumbing connects homeowners around Lake Houston with an independently owned business licensed in Texas that does septic and plumbing work. This site does not inspect, repair, install or guarantee anything, and any agreement is strictly between you and the pro. Calling or sending the form obliges nobody: you need not hire, and the pro need not accept the job.
The Counties
Harris County, Montgomery County and Liberty County run their own septic permitting. This site is not part of any of them, takes no applications, and cannot say whether a given lot or system qualifies. The permits page summarizes the counties’ published pages as they read on the date shown, and the counties’ current documents control. Contact the county for the application and for anything the summary does not answer.
Judging the Pro
Ask which license or registration covers the job and ask to see it. For plumbing, ask for the Responsible Master Plumber’s name and license number, which the Board’s rules put on proposals, invoices and contracts, and verify it in the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners’ public license search. For septic work, ask whether the installer is registered with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and, for an aerobic unit, whether the maintenance provider is licensed. Ask for the scope in writing, proof of insurance and the warranty, and for a large job get a second quote. Ask who applies for any permit the county requires.
Insurance
Whether a homeowner’s policy responds to a septic or plumbing failure is for you and your insurer to settle. Nobody tied to this site or to the pro’s business adjusts, negotiates or handles insurance claims, and the quote does not change with a claim.
About the Information Here
Each rule, fee, figure and date on these pages reflects the named source as it read on the day it was consulted. Counties revise their documents. None of it is legal, engineering, health or financial advice, and nothing here tells you whether a particular system complies or what a particular repair will cost.
The images are illustrations made for this site. They show no real job, house or address around Lake Houston or anywhere else.
Limits
To the fullest extent Texas law allows, Lake Houston Septic & Plumbing is not liable for a pro’s work, omissions or statements, or for loss from relying on the general information here. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stands. Texas law governs.
